Hi,

The draft JavaCareers sources have been copied from our internal CVS repository to the public sourceforge CVS repository.

The current version already holds already the following basic functionality, just click on the links to see the screen shots :

User/Groups admin and authentication
Admin features
MyProfile support
Simple Job posts
Java Jobs and RSS aggregation
JavaCareers RSS generation
PDF Resume posts
Resume PDF searching using Lucene
Daily email notification (job digest)

Once all open issues and Q&A tasks are finalized, we'll release this codebase as v0.1.0. This version will be made available on the BeJUG server for playing around and feedback.

It's only from v0.2.0, which will hold more advanced job and resume functionality, that we'll make it public available for JavaCareers and BeJUG users. The other modules: education (v0.3.0) and career (v0.4.0) are planned in Q3 and Q4 of this year. Version 1.0.0 should get released during JavaPolis 2005
