Vera Peeters

Vera is an independent consultant. She runs her own company Tryx. She has 15 years experience in developing software systems, especially object-oriented development in all kinds of high-technological environments. She has been pracicing agile ways of working for several years now. She focuses on process changes (towards agility), on the change from structural to OO development, and on OO design.

Vera Peeters has presented workshops at several conferences (XP2001 , XPUniverse, OT2002, OT2003, XPDay Londen 2003, X2004). She is a co-organizer of the XPDay Benelux and Javapolis conferences. Vera is a member of the program committee for XP2004, where she also serves as workshop chair. In 2001, she founded the Belgian XP User Group together with Pascal Van Cauwenberghe. She is a member of the Agile Systems group.
