Hubert Mertens has been around in Software for over 20 years.
He began his career when C/S emerged. In this period, he elaborated an in-depth technical and business foundation within an international context.
In the late 90ties, he got involved in the first business critical n-tier Java projects in Belgium. His main activities have been in the domain of program management and overall architecture (certified J2EE Architect). Early 2000, he was co-founder of DotCom, one of the leading J2EE companies in Belgium.
Since 2004, he has been associated with Ordina. The focus has shifted towards SOA since then.
